No matter what the season, you are sure to find something to do for the entire family.
Below you will find a list of some our attractions.

Iron Range Off Highway Vehicle Recreation Area
Gilbert is home to Minnesota's first designated state recreation area for off-highway vehicles (OHV) and all-terrain vehicles (ATV). This park features more than 1,200 acres of recreation trails, scramble areas, training, hill climbs, rock crawls, special events. This northern Minnesota OHV facility is for use by off-road motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and 4x4 Jeeps and trucks. This park is open to the public for recreational riding
and will also host state and national competitive events.
Areas for activities and special events include a multi-purpose event area, 4x4 rock crawl and obstacle course, tough-truck competition course, sand and mud drags, hill climbs, motorcycle track, observed trails, snowmobile events, bicycle motocross or mountain bike events and more.
Planning and land acquisition are currently underway for a proposed 3,500 acre addition to the OHV Park located just east of Virginia.

Snowmobiling in Northeastern Minnesota

he most scenic and best-groomed snowmobile trails in the Midwest await snowmobilers on Minnesota's Iron Range. We offer more than 2,000 miles of excellent, groomed and well-signed snowmobile trails.
Our extensive trail system winds across a variety of terrain and breathtaking northern Minnesota scenery. With over 500 lakes and rivers in our region, these frozen waterways also provide exceptionally scenic northeastern Minnesota riding opportunities.
Combine our pristine forests and abundant wildlife with an average snowfall of over 100 inches, the Iron Range region is truly a snowmobiler's paradise. From these trails, you can ride for hours in every direction. Our trails have direct access to lodging, gas, dining, and entertainment.

Northern Minnesota Golf
Northeastern Minnesota's Iron Range Region, with its eight public northern Minnesota golf courses, is home to some of the best golfing in the Midwest.
Virginia's 18-hole Golf Course has three new holes and offers mature pines, log clubhouse, and various sand and water hazards for your northern Minnesota golf experience.
Golf Digest ranked The Quarry at Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort "The Number One Public Golf Course in Minnesota," and The Legend was ranked #4 in Minnesota.  Golfweek also ranked The Quarry #1 in Minnesota. Giants Ridge was also named "One of the Top Six Golf Destinations in the World" by Golf World Magazine.
The Eveleth Golf Course plays around northern Minnesota's St. Mary's Lake. With its lush irrigated fairways and mature Norway pines, it's a must play.
The Hoyt Lakes Golf Course is located next to the northern Minnesota Superior National Forest, borders the Partridge River and is a scenic, beautifully manicured northern Minnesota golf course.
Wolfridge Golf Course offers a unique northern Minnesota golfing experience with its reversible course, glacial rock outcroppings and thirty water hazards.
The Hibbing golf course is conveniently located only one mile from downtown Hibbing, MN and the Mesaba Country Club's 18-hole course in Hibbing is a beautifully manicured and well-kept northern Minnesota golf course.

Fishing In Northern Minnesota
There are so many days in a year when anglers can enjoy excellent fishing on the Iron Range--365 to be exact. 
From the peak of summer through the chill of winter, visitors are invited to fish all along the Iron Range.
The region offers excellent opportunities for shore or boat fishing.  Minnesota's lake and rivers offer walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie and muskie and beautiful grand canyon-like reclamined mine pit lakes are stocked with rainbow, brook and lake trout.
Fishing guides area available on selected lakes and area resorts rent fishing boats, pontoon boats and ice fishing houses.  Fishing piers throughout the region are great--and safe--for family fun.
