Virginia, MN, is a family-friendly, physician-friendly community nestled among lakes and forests about one hour north of Duluth, and just one hour south of the beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. | Patient Population: | About 53,000 within 30-mile radius. | | | | | Practice Features: | Ability to select a full-time or part-time clinical practice schedule. 24/7 Lab, Imaging and Hospitalist coverage, 6- bed ICU, 10-bed telemetry, with 7-bed ED and 25-bed Med/ Surg floor. Birth census runs about 300/year - is anticipated to grow; outpatient clinic is attached to the 83-bed hospital; 3 warmly appointed LDRP rooms with C-section suite on the MCH floor with level I nursery services on site. NICU services are available in Duluth or the Twin Cities metro area.
