PRESS RELEASE Virginia Regional Medical Center Staff Receive Award The Minnesota Department of Health Office of the State Registrar recognized Virginia Regional Medical Center for its excellence in timely filings of birth data for newborns at VRMC.  To qualify for the award, hospitals must have a 90% return rate of data within five days of a child's birth.  VRMC had an outstanding return rate of 97% within five days of birth.  Pictured are Keith Harvey, VRMC CEO, congratulating the staff which includes Sue West and Ginny Hummel, coordinators of the information.  Thirty-five other hospitals in the state received this award from the Department of Health.
