Virginia Regional Medical Center Volunteer Service Organization

VRMC's Volunteer Service Organization was organized in 1957.  Meetings are held once a month on the second Tuesday at 11 a.m. in McMillan A.  The VSO offers additional opportunities for service, leadership and personal growth.

The Volunteer Service Organization helps to plan and participate in our fund raising activities, which include:
          ♦ Gift Shop
          ♦ Book Fairs
          ♦ Butter Braid Sale
          ♦ Flag Of Lights
          ♦ Other Special Events

In our 50 years we have contributed $782,217 toward projects and equipment for the comfort and care of our VRMC/VCC patients and residents.

The VSO has a fee of $5 for annual membership or $35 for lifetime membership.  Membership fees help to support the VSO programs.

Officers for 2008 are Erma Forseen, & Carol Wolk Co-Presidents, Marilyn Somero - Vice President, Peggy Patrick - Secretary, and Mary Mollard - Treasurer.
